Founded in 2016 by Gail Smith, Musica Arioso has grown from a small music studio into a thriving performing arts community across the Central West. As the studio evolved, drama programs were introduced, and the teaching team expanded to offer an even wider range of opportunities in music and performing arts. Today, Musica Arioso is dedicated to nurturing creativity, confidence and a lifelong love of the arts in a welcoming, inclusive environment for students of all ages.
Today, Gail is passionate about inspiring creativity, building confidence and helping every student discover the joy of expressing themselves through the arts.
Gail Smith said “The annual Musica Arioso Showcase gives our clients the opportunity to step onto a real theatre stage and experience performing with professional lighting and sound, in front of family, friends and our local community.”
All profits from these showcases will go to Parkes Can Assist and Our Breast Care Nurse Dianne Green and her team. “Breast awareness and early detection matter. We want to use our Showcase not only to entertain, but to start conversations, encourage people to know what is normal for their bodies and remind everyone that if something doesn’t feel right — get it checked.”
There are three separate sessions that you can attend:
• Morning session at 10am featuring Lexie Herden and Oscar Hendry.
• Afternoon session at 1pm featuring H2O — Harrison Rowbotham, Harry Smede and Oscar Hendry.
• Evening session 4pm Featuring Gracey Denham-Jones.
Previously the Annual showcase was only for family and friends to attend, this year is the first time that the showcase has been opened up to the public to enjoy.
The annual Musica Arioso Showcase will take place at the Parkes Little Theatre on Sunday 1 November. Tickets are $12 per seat and Children under 2 are free. Tickets are available at: https://www.musicaarioso.com.au/showcases
