Instead of delivering a meal, volunteers for Meals on Wheels were served a lovely spread on Wednesday at the organisation’s Christmas party. More than 100 volunteers and clients packed the Parkes Golf Club for a festive celebration of their dedication and hard work through the year.
Una Colley received special thanks as she is retiring after 35 years of volunteering, while three more volunteers were
acknowledged for their hard work: Bob Fernando, Marilyn Phipps and Lynette Pengilly.
