Parkes Phoenix

August 24, 2017 By Maggi Barnard

A seven-minute date is long enough to work out if you would like to get to know your date more and short enough to wrap up the conversation and move on. The aim is to bring together like-minded singles from the region looking for love! “There are so many events like this in the metro areas, so why not bring it out west?” said Railway Hotel owner Kasie Ferguson.

There will be two age groups of 25-38 and 39-54 years with 14 singles in each group. Tickets are $49 and include two friends to avoid the initial awkwardness, plus a drink and nibbles on arrival. All singles will get conversation starters
and a dating score card to mark down who they are interested in. Friends will be ushered to the veranda to mingle.

After seven minutes a bell will ring and the gents will get up and move while the ladies await their next date. At the end score cards will be collected and if there are matches those singles will have their preferred method of contact passed on to one another. “With such a great response to the other younger age groups, we would like to hear
from the 55+ singles to include this group in our next event.”

Limited spaces available, so register today! Contact Kasie Ferguson 0409 209 966. personnel who served in Vietnam. Three local men paid the supreme sacrifice: 235250 Captain Tony Danilenko (MID), 216445 Corporal
