The Parkes Croquet Club has enjoyed a successful start with its first two Saturday afternoon games and is generating a lot of interest. Fun and laughter are sounding across the Parkes Bowling and Sports Club futsal courts as new players learn the skills and the rules in a friendly, social atmosphere. Last Saturday’s icy winds didn’t stop the people from coming.
“It’s great fun,” said new player, Sue Maddison. “John and I really enjoyed it and we will definitely be back next week.”
