The Alectown district has held an annual interdenominational thanksgiving service at the Alectown Hall since 1988. With the COVID-19 restrictions there was some doubt if it could go ahead this year. Many of the past years have been drought stricken and with such a splendid season this year we felt it just had to go ahead. We are going to gather at the Bush Cathedral at Engedi (formerly Vision Ministries at Mamre), to adhere to social distancing rules.
Traditionally this service is held on the last Sunday of October just prior to harvest, so this year it will be held on Sunday, 25th October at 4pm. Afternoon tea and coffee and packaged biscuits will be provided. Everyone is welcome to attend to give thanks to God for our many blessings and the anticipated harvest.
