Sergeant Wayne Sargent and Corporal Adam James served together in Afghanastan and Banda Aceh. Wayne was an engineer, and Adam was a medic. They are now Army-retired.


Marlene Symonds, Jo Laurie and Ella Jablonskis were marching for Jack Harper and Jim Harper of the 3rd Bat- talion, Royal Australian Regiment.

Graham Cooke, Paul Thomas and Captain Anthony Klen- this, RAN joined other marchers at the Parkes Services Club after the Commemoration Service.

Dozens of Freemasons and guests paid tribute to our fallen during the combined Parkes-Forbes Freemason Commemoration Service at the Parkes Lodge last week.



Heritage home owner Mark Olson joined Councillor Alan Ward and Kate Ward at Hart Bar for the launch of the Sunrise to Sunset – Parkes Heritage Houses Open Day.


Justine Fisher, Councillor Bill Jayet and Margaret Robinson were celebrating the launch of the Sunrise to Sunset – Parkes Heritage Houses Open Day at the Hart Bar last week.
