Sunday’s Easter service and egg hunt at Cooke Park was amazing.

A huge thank you to all who helped make this such a key event on our calendar.

Be Seen @ Red Bend Catholic College

April 2, 2026 By Roxane Manley

Red Bend Catholic College Mountain Bike Team had a fantastic week at Thredbo. Early in March. The weather brought plenty of mud, but it certainly added to the adventure.

The boys competed in their events, recorded some great times, had a lot of fun, built confidence on the mountain, and enjoyed the experience of riding together as a team.

Mrs Tandy joined in – fitting in a few fun runs down the mountain herself. A big shout out to the parents who went along and helped throughout the week, making the trip possible.

Be Seen @ Moomba Birdman Rally With PCS

March 12, 2026 By Roxane Manley

Parkes Christian School’s Senior Design and Technology class recently competed at the Moomba Birdman Rally in Melbourne. The team had a fantastic time competing and were thrilled to achieve some amazing results, taking out Longest Distance by flying an impressive 10 metres, which awarded them $3,500 for their chosen charity.

The team was also honoured with the People’s Choice Award, adding a further $1,000 to the tally. On top of their competition success, the team had raised $3,219 through their GoFundMe page, bringing the total raised to an incredible $7,719 for Little Wings.

A huge congratulations to all of the students and Mr Wynstra who worked so hard to design and build the aircraft, and a special mention to Jack, who bravely took flight for the team. A display of teamwork and willingness to take on a unique challenge.
