The U15’s Boys and Girls Touch Football teams com­peted in a Western Gala Day in Mudgee this week.


Both teams displayed outstanding effort in their games, demonstrating a high level of school pride.

It has been a busy start to the year at Parkes High School, with students engaging in a variety of new learning experiences.

The Sporting House leaders can’t wait to see everyone at the annual swimming carnival.


The Year 7 students are loving the opportunity to borrow books at the library from Mr Luck.


Last week the year 11 students participated in their Sen­ior Study Skills session.

Citizen of the Year: Sean Haynes. Sean exempli­fies unwavering dedication and leadership.From heading recovery efforts after the devastating 2022 floods to securing grants for community projects, Sean’s tireless work has significantly advanced Eugowra’s recovery and growth.

 

Community Group of the Year: Eugowra Junior Sports Club Committee. Through soccer and swimming initiatives, the committee has created opportunities for children to engage in healthy ac­tivities, fostering teamwork and community spirit.
