It’s been called the State’s most iconic steam locomotive, and it came to Parkes on Tuesday. The historic steam train 3801 returned to the Central West for the first time since 2007. On Tuesday it came through Parkes from Orange and on its way to Dubbo, much to the delight of train spotters. Its beautiful whistle could be heard across town. (Photo: Susan Mill)
