Geoff Rice

How long have you lived in or around Parkes? I was born and raised in Parkes and have lived in Sydney, Bathurst, Forbes and Parkes.

Where do you work? My wife Renee and I own Landmark Langlands Hanlon in Parkes and Forbes. She is my boss at home and the office!

How did you get into this line of work?
I always wanted to buy Langlands Hanlon from Leo Heraghty. He told me to get some experience and come back to
Parkes later. I did this and Renee and I purchased the business from Leo and Helen 10 years ago.

What do you enjoy about rural living?
Living and working with friends.

How do you like your coffee? Cappuccino with 2 sugars.

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be? A beach, anywhere.

What do you like to do in your spare time? My daughter Clara says I work all the time.

What makes your day? Spending time with family and getting good results for our clients.

What’s your worst habit? Working and never turning the phone off.
