Parkes Phoenix

Question of the Week?

May 10, 2018 By Maggi Barnard

What do you think the Police can do more of in Parkes?

Hayley Hofman: Community engagement – days like Coffee with a Cop are very important as it gives the Police more of a presence and people get to know them. That makes them feel safer.

Rhyse Forrestal: It would be good to educate people living with disabilities on safety and crime prevention as many of them are not aware of what to do to keep themselves safe.

Susanne Douglas: The Police are doing a really good job at the moment. There doesn’t seem to be much trouble around. I feel safe and always see the Police around. They are a nice bunch of people. Coffee with a Cop is a really good day to meet them and see who is protecting us.
