There was a blizzard of bowls put down by team Byrne and team Grant. It took four before Liz Byrne and Rhona Went had a final storm surge to overcome Maree Grant and Jan McPhee.
The wind was certainly behind Elaine, Heather and Sue, with a good win over Marja, Kay and Frances. Hilda battled water over the roads on her way to play bowls and playing with Lorraine and Merilyn continued to steam ahead of Rose, Carol and Fran.
